Student Teaching

Students will complete one semester of student teaching in early childhood settings, including preK settings, kindergarten, first, and second grade classrooms. Students will complete their student teaching in at least two of the following early childhood settings: prekindergarten, kindergarten, first grade or second grade. Students will attend seminar for 30 hours during the semester to discuss topics that range from classroom management to supporting children with diverse learning needs. During student teaching, students will complete the Teacher Performance Assessment (edTPA).
