CSCI 10N01 - Counting by Writing Code
Overview
Course Title
Counting by Writing Code
Department(s)
Description
This course is designed as a consequence of developing a simple programming language to express counting problems. To count, one simply runs the program. But writing the program will help create a mental representation of what is that we are really counting, which is essential. By working out several examples, students will learn the basic principle of how to count by themselves, and drop the programming aspect. No mathematical background or knowledge of programming is required.
