This course explores the theory and application of motion graphics that are created, processed, and then re-presented in time.Through hands-on, creative projects, students learn After Effects and develop production and workflow strategies for digital time-based media, like audio clips, movie clips and animations to reach an understanding of the key characteristics of time-based digital arts. Assigned projects will cover topics such as storyboarding, pre-production, digital data collection, fundamental theories of choreography (sound and image co- ordination), image manipulation and output formats.
