Description
An introduction to public health biology and clinical physiopathology for future public health professionals. Explores population biology, ecological principles underlying public health and the relationship of biology to public health. The course will offer a basic understanding of the biological basis of core public health issues including, chronic conditions infectious diseases, vaccines, genetic illnesses, neoplastic processes, and environmental illnesses.
Open to listed majors. Open to others who meet prerequisites and with PH faculty advisor registration clearance, per space availability. Prereqs as shown & incl PH 30100 or transfer equivalent.
