This course introduces students to the fundamentals of geological science through the study of the major features, materials, structures and processes of the Earth. Plate tectonic theory; volcanism, earthquakes, continental drift, mountainbuilding.Mineral deposits, fossil fuels, erosional processes, agents and hazards.
