Human Rights and U.S. Foreign Policy
Catalog Description
This course will explore the human rights factor in American foreign policy from an historical perspective reviewing the role of human rights in each presidential administration, post-World War II, from Truman through Trump. It will also focus on theoretical and conceptual issues as they have played out in political debates and struggles.
