Sexual Literacy in 20th-Century America: A History of Sex Education in the United States, 1880-1990

Catalog Description

This one-credit seminar, to be offered by the School of Education, will examine the modern history of sex education in the United States, from 1880-1990. By "sex education" we mean the spread of "sexual literacy," generally, and the formal teaching of sex education in public schools.
