Description

Every semester around a half a dozen award winning poets, novelists, and non-fiction writers visit Hunter College for the Distinguished Writers Series. This course is dedicated to studying the latest work by these authors before attending the readings and meeting the them, face to face, for an in-class Q&A. In the past these authors have included Margaret Atwood, Rachel Kushner, William Finnegan, and Maggie Nelson, among many others.The readings that students must attend are typically each on five different Tuesdays at 7.30pm at Hunter College’s main 68th Street campus.
