Quantitative Methods in Geography
Catalog Description
This course introduces common statistical methods for geographic research. Students will learn how to interpret and use these techniques effectively and appropriately. It reviews information from introductory statistics courses and applies it to examples from physical and social sciences. The course focuses on the application of techniques rather than the derivation of equations. It will prepare students for more advanced statistical and spatial analysis topics covered in other courses.
