Applications of light and confocal microscopy, using fluorescence and multidimensional imaging to study cell structures. Lab projects involve immunofluorescence: fixation methods and immunocytochemistry. Illumination methods including multi-channel 3D rendering, image processing and visualization software. Fall only.
